Tidal Tumblers is Cape Cod Gymnastics’ recreational gymnastics team.

• Gymnasts are required to take two weekly classes at their skill level. (If invited to a pre-team, DP or Xcel, those classes fulfill the requirement.)
• The team will meet periodically during the school year for special practices focused on team bonding and learning their floor and beam choreography.
• Each gymnast will also receive a team leotard to wear at team practices and exhibitions.
• Gymnasts must be at least 7 years old and have some beginner basic skills to participate.

Our goal is to provide a positive, team-centered experience where gymnasts can build confidence, friendships, and performance skills.

There will be three in-house exhibitions throughout the year, giving gymnasts the chance to showcase what they’ve learned in a familiar, low-pressure environment. At each exhibition:

• Gymnasts will perform their floor and beam routines and demonstrate skills on vault and bars.
• Judges will provide scores out of 10.0, similar to competitive gymnastics. Scores reflect factors such as form, technique, and safe skill completion.
• At the conclusion of the meet, all gymnasts are recognized with medals, ensuring every child leaves feeling proud of their accomplishments.

The true purpose of these exhibitions is not about winning, but about gaining experience, building confidence, and celebrating progress in a positive and supportive setting.
